Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and motivation to enhancing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) companies in the course of an engagement with all the agency's senior professionals at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing eighty one% from the registered pupils in the instruction sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
